Mangystau Energy College named after N. Bekbosynov is the only educational institution in our region that trains highly qualified specialists who meet modern requirements, are competitive in the labor market, and contribute to the growth of the region’s industrial potential and economic development.

The college is an up-to-date educational system that works in the interests of students, teachers, employers, and other stakeholders, aimed at creating an open information environment and developing modern infrastructure.

The main mission of the institution is to become a Kazakhstani model of technical and vocational education by introducing new methods and best practices into the educational process.

The core tendency of the college is to improve the effectiveness and quality of the educational process by creating conditions for shaping competitive specialists with broad knowledge, flexible thinking, and professional skills.

Mangystau Energy College named after N. Bekbosynov was founded in 1972 and is the only educational institution in the Mangystau region that prepares specialists in the field of energy.

• On November 17, 1972, by Order No. 1076 of the Ministry of Vocational and Technical Education of the Kazakh SSR, the institution was established on the basis of the Caspian Regional Mining and Metallurgical Plant (now “Kaskor” Joint-Stock Company) under the name City Vocational School No. 194.

• On May 29, 1973, by Order No. 317 of the Mangyshlak Regional Department of Vocational and Technical Education, GPTU-194 (SVU-194) was renamed as Secondary Vocational School No. 194 of Shevchenko city, Mangyshlak region.

• By Decision No. 247 of the Head of the Mangystau Regional Administration dated March 9, 1995, and Order No. 95-OD of the Mangystau Regional Department of Education dated April 7, 1995, SVU-4 was renamed as Higher Vocational School No. 4.

• According to the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 602 dated April 21, 1997, the Higher Vocational School No. 4 was renamed as the Mangystau Energy College State Communal Treasury Enterprise.

• By Resolution No. 70 of the Akimat of Mangystau Region dated May 13, 2022, the name “Mangystau Energy College” State Communal Treasury Enterprise was changed to “Mangystau Energy College named after N. Bekbosynov” State Communal Treasury Enterprise.
