Regional Contest “Ecotourism”

From October 8 to 10, 2025, A.Zh. Izbasarova, an Informatics teacher at the N. Bekbosynov Mangystau Energy College, took part as a member of the jury in the regional contest “Ecotourism.”
As part of the contest, an educational and historical tour was organized to the sacred sites of the Mangystau region — Otpan Mountain, the underground mosque Karaman Ata, and the Kogez ethno-village.
The purpose of the event was to enhance the ecological awareness of the younger generation and to promote national values.

Contest program:

• Day 1: historical and ecological excursion to Otpan Mountain, museum visit, and video shooting.

• Day 2: in Kogez ethno-village — “A Thousand Colors of Mangystau” nomination, visit to Karaman Ata Mosque, participation in sports activities in Beki village.

• Day 3: “Ecological Review” nomination, cleanup campaign, and award ceremony.

This three-day contest provided students with an opportunity to learn more about their homeland, foster environmental responsibility, and develop their creative potential.
